A huge thank you to everyone who supported our ride

Around 140 people turned out for our ride to highlight the poor conditions for cycling along the A10 between Royston and Trumpington. The oldest rider was 83, the youngest participant 3 years old on a tag-a-long. A huge thank you from us to everybody who took an interest. We’ll post reports in the next few days. A photo gallery can be viewed on the Photo Gallery page

Anglia TV ran a piece on the ride. See the Video here on Anglia TVs website

Shepreth Wildlife Park show support for local cycling

We are delight with the support we have received from local organisations and businesses for our campaign. One of the jewels in Cambridgeshire’s crown, Shepreth Wildlife Park, has supported our forthcoming ride and is now offering admission discounts to people arriving by cycle. The quote below is from their Facebook page.

“Having just installed cycle parking at the park we think green travel is a brilliant way to help the environment. Which is why we also offer discount on our admission to all our visitors who arrive by train (with production of a valid train ticket) and to support this campaign we are going to extend this offer to all visitors who visit us by push bike too. Just show your bike to the reception (from outside the window by the two main black gates) to receive this discount”
