We have received a general invitation from the Greater Cambridge City Deal Team to attend the opening Ceremony of the A10 Melbourn to Frogend section of the Cambridge to Royston Cycleway taking place on Wednesday 15 March, between 10.30am and 12.10pm.

To celebrate the opening we will be holding a 1.5 mile led cycle ride and walk along the new path from Melbourn Community Hub to Wyevale Garden Centre. If you wish to join the excursion, please meet at the Melbourn Community Hub at 10.30am.

If you cannot attend the cycle ride or walk, please note you are still very welcome to come along to the ribbon cutting, which will commence at 11.30am on the new dual use path outside Wyevale Garden Centre. The ribbon cutting will be followed by refreshments, which are kindly being donated by the Garden Centre.

It would be great to see as many as possible. This is going to be a great community resource making active travel and recreation possible for so many more. The opening ceremony will help us to publicise this new travel option and keeps the area in focus with the Southern end of the path to Royston as yet to find funding.
