We have received the following message from The Greater Cambridge City Deal Team:

“We are pleased to announce the start of works for the first Greater Cambridge City Deal scheme – a new shared use foot & cycleway which will link the village of Melbourn to the A10 and into Cambridge.

You are invited to celebrate this occasion at a sod cutting ceremony on Monday, 24 October at 10.30am.  The event will take place on Cambridge Road in Melbourn (near the junction with Portway) .

It’s great to see this much needed link happening. Please do come along if you can.
